Can someone please tell me what my DNS settings need to be for my SPF and DKIM records so the things being sent to my inbox from my WordPress site will be received every time? This is getting very frustrating because I don’t understand these things very well and every time I contact someone they tell me that it’s someone else’s problem and then the next person tells me the same. He said I need to know what SPF and DKIM records I need to have so my WordPress contact form submissions and WooCommerce sale notifications land in my inbox because these messages are being sent by WordPress, but he can’t tell me what those records need to be. This way the messages will not fail the authentication checks and will be delivered normally to my inbox. I’ve been told by my email provider (ProtonMail) that because I am using a custom domain with them for my email address, I will need to set up the SPF records and the DKIM records in my DNS settings in order to ‘approve’ my WordPress website as a sender. The customer usually receives their confirmation email, but I don’t usually receive the sale notification email. I’m not receiving my email notifications when someone submits my website’s contact form and I’m also not receiving my WooCommerce email notifications when a sale occurs, which are very important to me. I set up a third party email address that uses my custom domain name for my website.
